What I Didn't Know about New York
By jkdelahoy on September 25, 2015
Our walk on Sunday (food tour of the Village) was delightful. This was our 3rd GNYT tour, and our second -- as it happened -- with Marcie. )Our other food tour was with Brendan, in Brooklyn. Everthing I say about Marcie applies to him, too.) I was hanging out in the Village a number of decades ago, and still do as often as I can, but on each walk I have learned more and more about the city. I want to take all the tours; I can't imagine a better way of spending brisk, sunny afternoon, although the good weather was optional. . Both of our guides are extremely knowledgeable about their beat, and get a lot of questions. It is so much fun being led by such a couple of cool cats. They are both funny, considerate, professional, interesting people. I can just imagine how tourists must enjoy these walks, although we have had many New Yorkers along. What could be better than that? A true testament, and it also mixes it up a bit for everybody else. The food is always great, and the guides are so organized that everything is always ready for us so we can keep moving along. I have gone back to almost all the places on the tours.

Great tour!!
By Tam O on September 25, 2015
I found this tour through a Groupon deal. Figured I would try it out for a surprise for my daughter's birthday. So I bought the deal for 4 people! It was well worth it! It was me, my husband, our daughter and her friend. Our tour guide, Walter, was awesome. We took the Great Food Tour of New York which was centered in Greenwich Village. Walter was very knowledgeable about the surroundings and about the places that he took us to eat. There was a decent amount of food on this tour. I wouldn't say I felt need to unbutton my pants but it did satisfy me until dinner. Even with the cold weather, it was still a great experience. I would definitely do another tour and see how that one is.

“Greenwhich Village Walking Food Tour”

Awesome! Tour guide, Alex, was super. We were scheduled for Little Italy, but was changed to Greewich village. However, we were not disappointed. We stopped at #1 rated NY pizza place, meat market, dessert place, molly's cupcakes, coffee shop, and an Italian dessert place. Since our group was small, Alex also included some of Soho and stopped at a chocolate store. Alex was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the history of the area, stores and architecture of the buildings. It was great to be able to sit at a few of the places we stopped.

Great New York Tours-Ghost Walk
By Freda N on September 25, 2015
My husband and I enjoyed our recent Ghost Walk Tour. Our guide, Kyle, was especially knowledgable and well versed on his history and ghost tales. He was friendly and had a wonderful speaking voice. His words made one able to visualize the scenes he was describing. He made the tour a lot of fun, including his candy give-away trivia sessions. We loved seeing parts of Greenwich Village we had never previously seen. I was a little disappointed at not running into any true ghosts....but oh well........it was still a good time.
